We’ll confirm your insurance coverage upfront to avoid surprises. If your employer provides orthodontic benefits, we’ll ensure your policy is active and that you meet the eligibility requirements. Some plans may have waiting periods or age restrictions.

Orthodontic benefits are often separate from standard dental insurance. We’ll walk you through the specifics of your plan, including eligibility for two-phase treatments and how the benefits are distributed.

For two-phase treatments, insurance may only cover part of Phase I, with remaining benefits reserved for Phase II. If your policy stays active, those unused benefits can be applied to Phase II. Extractions or other necessary procedures may be covered by dental insurance but could sometimes fall under orthodontic benefits.

 It’s important to maintain continuous insurance coverage throughout your treatment to access full benefits. If you experience life changes like a job transition or insurance switch, we’ll assist with re-filing claims to ensure your treatment stays on track. Be aware that some plans don’t cover ongoing treatment if coverage changes mid-treatment.

If you’re covered by two policies, we’ll help coordinate between them. Some plans may include a non-duplication clause, which can prevent you from receiving benefits from both policies for the same treatment. We’ll work to clarify these details for you.
