Phase 2 is comprehensive orthodontic treatment that typically begins after most permanent teeth have erupted. Treatment may include braces or clear aligners to straighten the teeth, improve the bite, and support long-term smile stability.
If your child completed Phase 1 treatment, Phase 2 builds on that foundation.
Phase 1: Usually begins while baby teeth remain. It guides jaw growth, creates space, and addresses developing structural concerns.
Phase 2: Usually begins after most permanent teeth have erupted. It aligns the permanent teeth, corrects the bite, and completes comprehensive orthodontic treatment.
