EARLY ORTHODONTIC
CARE

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children receive their first orthodontic evaluation around age seven. An early evaluation does not always mean that treatment is needed right away. It allows Dr. Massey to assess developing teeth, jaw growth, bite alignment, and airway concerns while determining the best time to intervene—if intervention is necessary.

When early treatment is recommended, it may help guide jaw development, create space for permanent teeth, correct harmful bite patterns, or support healthier oral and facial development.

Best for: Children with developing bite concerns, crowding, jaw-growth differences, airway concerns, or early loss of baby teeth.

What happens next: If treatment is not yet needed, your child can be monitored through complimentary observation appointments until the timing is right.

COMPREHENSIVE ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
